Dr. Deanna Gigliotti, MD
Dr. Deanna Gigliotti is a fellowship-trained Sinus and Skull Base surgeon within Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgeon. She completed Otolaryngology surgical residency and a Master of Science in Manitoba, followed by a fellowship in Vancouver. She has a particular interest in the management of chronic rhinosinusitis, nasal polyposis, and complex sinonasal and skull base disorders.
In addition to her work in rhinology and skull base surgery, Dr. Gigliotti maintains an active practice in general otolaryngology for both adults and children, providing care for sleep disordered breathing, ruptured ear drums, hoarseness, and more.
Dr. Gigliotti is a Clinical Instructor at UBC and enjoys teaching medical students and residents. She is committed to fostering the next generation of physicians through hands-on clinical education and mentorship. Her clinical approach is grounded in evidence-based medicine and patient-centered care, with an emphasis on clear communication, shared decision-making, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Her research focuses on inflammatory airway disease, and the integration of biologic therapies in chronic rhinosinusitis. She is particularly interested in precision medicine, health equity, and improving access to advanced care for underserved and rural populations.
Outside of clinical practice, Dr. Gigliotti values time spent with family and friends, enjoys travel, and exploring the natural beauty of British Columbia through hiking and outdoor adventure.
